Plain English: Free is free, no card. Pro is $5.99/month, Pro+ is $14.99/month. You can cancel anytime — your access stays until the end of the period you paid for. First-time paid subscribers get a 14-day money-back if they want it. Renewals don't get refunds.
1. Scope
These Subscription Terms govern the paid subscription tiers of the Market Sniper service operated by [ENTITY NAME] ("Provider", "we"). They form part of the Terms of Service and are incorporated by reference. Where these Subscription Terms conflict with the Terms of Service on a billing-specific question, these Terms control on that question.
You acknowledge these Subscription Terms by completing checkout for any paid plan.
2. Plans, Prices, and Features
2.1 Free
- Price: Free; no payment instrument required.
- Includes: 25 ranked opportunities (authenticated preview view), 5 watchlist slots, 7 days of price history, market-health state visible on every surface, confidence scoring and thesis context.
2.2 Pro — $5.99 / month USD
- Price: $5.99 per month, billed monthly.
- Includes (in addition to Free): 100 ranked opportunities, 50 watchlist slots, 30 days of price history, exact GP / ROI / bid / ask / net profit numbers, volatility ratings on ranked signals, candlestick / range / focus-mode chart controls, full signal rationale on every setup, Practice trading with a simulated market, and other capabilities described on the pricing page.
2.3 Pro+ — $14.99 / month USD
- Price: $14.99 per month, billed monthly.
- Includes (everything in Pro, plus): 250 ranked opportunities, 200 watchlist slots, 90 days of price history, trade thesis with explicit confidence grading, spread overlays and expanded chart interpretation, longest-history chart read, Deep AI synthesis and analysis, goal setting plans and AI coach functionality, and other capabilities described on the pricing page.
2.4 Authoritative source
The pricing page at /pricing is the authoritative source for the current price, billing cadence, and feature list of each tier. If a discrepancy arises between this document and the pricing page, the pricing page controls only as to features and price; all other terms (refunds, cancellation, chargebacks, etc.) are governed by this document.
2.5 Beta-period note
During the public-beta window (2026-05-10 through 2026-06-15), pricing, feature availability, and rate limits may change with notice. Material changes will be announced in-app and emailed to active subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect, unless emergency security or stability concerns require sooner action. No subscription is auto-cancelled as a result of a beta-period change; you may cancel before any change takes effect to avoid being billed under the new terms.
3. Auto-Renewal
Plain English: Your subscription renews monthly until you cancel.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your tier. The renewal date is the same calendar day of each subsequent month (or the last day of the month if your billing day does not exist in the renewal month — e.g., a January 31 subscription renews February 28).
You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through account settings or the payment-processor portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period (see §5 for refund mechanics).
4. Cancellation
Plain English: Cancel any time. You keep paid features through the end of your current period. Then you go back to Free.
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- through your account settings panel;
- through the payment processor's customer portal (when active);
- by emailing support@[domain] from your account email.
On cancellation:
- the cancellation is recorded immediately;
- your subscription enters the
cancelled_pending_endlifecycle state; - your paid-tier access continues through the end of the current paid period;
- at the end of the current paid period, the subscription transitions to
expired, yourentitlement_tierreverts tofree, and paid-feature access ends; - your data is retained per the Privacy Policy.
You may resubscribe at any time. Resubscription creates a fresh subscription record; refund eligibility (§5) re-evaluates based on whether you have ever previously had a paid subscription on the same account.
5. Refunds
Plain English: First-time paid subscribers get 14 days money-back, no questions. After that — and on renewals — refunds are at our discretion. Cancel anytime to stop future billing; we do not pro-rate refunds.
5.1 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee — First Paid Subscription Only
If you are subscribing to a paid plan for the first time on your account, you may request a full refund of the most recent paid period within 14 calendar days of the initial subscription start, no questions asked. To request the refund, email support@[domain] from your account email within the 14-day window.
The 14-day money-back guarantee:
- applies only to the first paid subscription ever activated on your account;
- applies to the most recent paid period only;
- does not apply to any subsequent paid subscription on the same account, even after a long lapse (you only get the money-back guarantee once per account, ever);
- does not apply to renewals of an existing paid subscription;
- is processed within 5–10 business days of the request, returned to the original payment instrument;
- on issuance, terminates the subscription immediately and reverts your account to Free.
5.2 Renewals Are Non-Refundable
Auto-renewal payments are non-refundable. We will not pro-rate, partial-refund, or otherwise return funds for an unused portion of a paid period after a cancellation. If you do not want to be billed for the next period, cancel before the renewal date.
5.3 Discretionary Refunds
We may, in our sole discretion, issue refunds outside the 14-day first-subscription window in extraordinary circumstances (extended Service outage attributable to us, billing errors, demonstrable charge in error). Discretionary refund decisions are not precedent-setting and do not entitle you to a refund in any other circumstance.
5.4 No Refund for Termination Due to Breach
If we terminate or suspend your account for breach of the Terms of Service, the Acceptable Use Policy, the no-RMT clause, fraud, chargeback abuse, or any other material breach, no refund will be issued for any unused portion of any paid period.
6. Chargebacks
Plain English: If you have a billing problem, talk to us first. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us is a contract violation and may get your account suspended.
If you believe a charge is in error, contact support@[domain] before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer or payment processor. We will investigate and resolve legitimate billing errors promptly.
Initiating a chargeback while a refund process is available with us constitutes a material breach of these Subscription Terms. On receipt of a chargeback notice, your account may be moved to disputed_hold lifecycle state, paid-feature access may be suspended pending investigation, and your account may be terminated. Chargeback fees assessed against us may be passed through to you.
If a chargeback is reversed in our favor, the original charge stands; if reversed in your favor, the dispute concludes accordingly and the account state is updated to reflect the resolution.
7. Price Changes
Plain English: We can change prices. Existing subscribers get 30 days notice and can cancel before the new price takes effect.
We may change prices for any tier at any time. For existing subscribers:
- material price increases (more than $0.50/month or more than 10%, whichever is greater) will be communicated by in-app notice plus email at least 30 days before the change takes effect;
- you may cancel before the new price takes effect to avoid the increase;
- if you do not cancel, your next renewal will be billed at the new price.
For new subscribers, the price displayed on the pricing page at the time of checkout governs.
8. Failed Payments and Grace
Plain English: If your payment fails, we give you a short grace period to fix it. If you don't, paid features turn off.
When a renewal payment fails:
- your subscription enters the
gracelifecycle state; - your paid-tier access continues during the grace period (per the
grace_period_ends_atwindow configured in our billing service); - we will attempt to retry the payment per the payment processor's standard cadence and notify you by email;
- if payment is not successfully collected within the grace window, your subscription transitions to
delinquent, youraccess_statebecomesrestricted(paid-feature access blocked while account remains accessible), and ultimately toexpired(revert to Free) per our billing service's normalization; - your data is retained per the Privacy Policy.
You may retry payment or update your payment instrument at any time during grace or restricted states to restore access without losing data.
9. Tier Changes
9.1 Upgrades
Upgrade from Free → Pro, Free → Pro+, or Pro → Pro+ takes effect immediately. The new period starts at the time of upgrade. Any difference in price for the remainder of an existing period is not credited in the standard flow (we do not pro-rate).
9.2 Downgrades
Downgrade from Pro+ → Pro or any paid → Free takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You retain Pro+ / Pro features through that period; the downgraded tier applies from the next renewal cycle.
9.3 Data Retention on Downgrade
Your data (watchlist, account preferences, prior history access) is retained on downgrade. You will lose access to features above your new tier (e.g., chart history beyond the new tier's window, ranked-opportunity slots above the new tier's limit). On re-upgrade, those features become accessible again with the same data.
10. AI Feature Fair Use
Pro+ AI features (Deep AI synthesis, AI coach, goal setting plans) are subject to fair-use limits to prevent abuse and ensure availability for all subscribers. Limits include but are not limited to per-day query caps, per-session output volume caps, and rate limits on rapid sequential requests. Specific quantitative limits are not published (and may change without notice) to prevent gaming. Sustained patterns inconsistent with normal individual use may result in throttling, temporary feature unavailability, or — in the case of clear abuse — permanent feature removal from the account.
AI feature outputs are subject to the Risk Disclosure — they are tools, not advice.
11. Practice Mode Availability
Practice Mode (paper trading) is available to subscribers on Pro and Pro+ tiers. The simulated environment, available scenarios, and feature scope may change with notice. Practice Mode is provided "as is"; it is an educational tool and is subject to the disclaimers in the Risk Disclosure document.
12. Tax
Prices displayed on the pricing page are exclusive of any applicable sales tax, value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), or similar tax. Where we are required by law to collect such tax, the tax will be added at checkout. Where we are not required to collect, you are responsible for any tax due in your jurisdiction.
13. Currency
All prices are in United States Dollars (USD). Charges through your payment instrument may be converted by your card issuer at their then-prevailing exchange rate; conversion fees are at your expense.
14. Promotional Pricing
We may offer promotional pricing (discount codes, time-limited offers, bundle pricing) from time to time. Promotional offers are subject to the specific terms of the offer (which prevail over conflicting provisions of these Subscription Terms only as to the offer's scope), are not stackable unless explicitly stated, and may be revoked at our discretion if abused.
15. Account Suspension and Subscription
Suspension or termination of your account under the Terms of Service does not automatically refund any paid amount (see §5.4) and does not extend the unused portion of a paid period back to you on subsequent re-activation.
16. Changes to These Subscription Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. Material changes will require fresh affirmative acceptance at the next checkout, and active subscribers will receive an in-app notice and email. Non-material changes (clarifications, formatting) will be reflected by an updated version date. The current effective version and full version history are available at /legal/subscription.
